Genie Insights’ solar panels can be fitted to a wide range of transport equipment, including trucks, trailers, buses/coaches, and vans; and can be suitable for both diesel powered and electric vehicles. Basically, any type of transport equipment that has a battery could theoretically benefit from solar.
We are always developing new applications, in conjunction with our solar manufacturer. As well as having our standard, tried and tested solutions, for sectors such as refrigerated transport and the waste/recycling sector, we can also design bespoke systems specifically for customer applications. We can model and tailor solutions based on the customers’ power demands, battery efficiency, location and the ‘real estate’ available on the vehicle’s roof.
